Hair care

In continuation of skincare and cosmetics post, listing out the hair care products below:

Hair treatments:
Roots: I always believed that the brands which work for my hair wouldn't work for my skin and vice versa. When I tried solid hair oil treatment from Lush which didn't live up to my expectations, my belief only got stronger and I didn't try any of their hair products for a long time. Few months ago, I noticed my hair growth reduced drastically and came across Roots treatment from Lush. It really does help and my there is a significant improvement in my hair growth. Already finished with a tub and when a friend agreed to bring just one thing for me from UK, this is one I chose.
H'suan wen hua: I got this one as a sample and loved the way my hair felt after using it. When my Roots tub was halfway through, I had to return home and wanted to buy another pack. However, I got H'suan wen hua instead - wanted to get both but my luggage already exceeded allowed limit and I had more than a kg of products in the basket 😔. Because one of it's contents is egg, it has a low shelf life - 2 months as while Roots got 1 year life. Also I could get similar results from products from other brands and if I had to pick one hair product from Lush I would go for Roots.
Montagne jeunesse Argan oil hair pack: I sort of became argan oil fan particularly in hair care products. Even though I tried quite a few Montagne Jeunesse packs, this would be first in argan oil variant - would be using it once Roots treatment is over 😊. Unfortunately, I bought only one pack as they were easily available in Bangalore before, however, not able to find now ☹️.
Shampoo/conditioner:
Aussie 3 minute miracle: bought a shampoo and conditioner in colour protect variant. I find them ok, nothing over the top.
Rene futerer colour protect shampoo: I picked this shampoo from a pharmacy during my first visit to Paris as I didn't pack one and used it on last day of the trip but didn't notice how nice my hair felt until next day. During second visit I picked a couple of them in color protect variant as I got my hair colored😁. Since we didn't get cabin baggage allowance I had to pick only travel size packs. As Aussie shampoo is almost over, they would be next to use.
Lush shampoo bar - Jason and argan oil: went to buy big shampoo. However, since bars have higher shelf life, picked this argan oil bar (craze continues).
Lush big shampoo: got a sample of this first. Even though it's a bit tough to use, it gives good volume. Got a smaller tub before returning - weight restrictions 😒.
Superdrug argan oil hair conditioner sachet: it is kind of conditioner cum hair mask. They are quite good and not very expensive (missSuperdrug so much 🙍🏻).
Hair serums:
Hask argan oil: another argan oil product ☺bought a small vial from super drug and currently using. It felt a bit heavy but got absorbed pretty well.
John Frieda serum: picked a small vial again from Sainsbury's as it would be easy to carry.
Body shop argan solid oil: this is where my liking for argan oil started. Body shop argan oil range have amazing fragrance 😍. It was in my shopping list for a while and finally got it when I got a voucher for my birthday 💃🏻. Can't wait to start using this one - maybe would switch this up before John Frieda.
Hair sprays:
Teresemme heat protectant spray, volumizing spray and Aussie hair spray: one of the main things I was looking forward to purchase is hair spray. I was quite overwhelmed by the wide variety of options, not to mention the offers. Got 2 tresemme sprays and an Aussie spray immediately. Heat protectant spray is still in use even though I am using it at least once a week for last year.
L'Oréal colour protect spray and argan oil spray: got these during before return home shopping. Even though the sprays in use are barely halfway through, had to pick up these as they are not easily available in Bangalore and they are running an offer too💁🏻.
