Many times, while on train or bus, I come across few places so beautiful, I wish I had time to get down and spend time there. Unfortunately I never acted on those instincts. However, when I saw this stunning castle on train ride to Portsmouth, I knew I had to visit it. I managed to bookmark the location in google (which is harder than I thought from a moving train) and planned a trip another weekend. I visited many castles and palaces in UK & Europe, but this one is different in a way I cannot explain. It’s not promoted like Blenheim or Windsor - when I asked one of the attendants there, he said the castle needs none (he was even little annoyed at my question 🫣). Apparently most visitors are in their way to another location, but stop here when they see the castle (the charm is not lost on anyone 😍).  The castle also hosts many medieval events and, on the day I visited, was the grand finale of a week long jousting tournament.  Finally managed to list empties in a month 💃🏻. TBS African Ximenia body scrub: The Body Shop is one of the best brands for body products. The spa range is newly introduced when I was in UK but the bulky packaging refrained me on my way home. Thankfully, the same range is available here and, even though offers are comparatively limited, we get occasional discounts. The scrub is quite good, exfoliate well and not drying. The main feature is the fragrance - it’s subtle and pleasant. I like lighting a scented candle, play some spa music and use this scrub (if only I have a bathtub 🙇🏻‍♀️). I bought Kiehls crème de corps body scrub (huge Kiehls haul in the last sale🫣), but I would like to try out other TBS scrubs if not same one) L’occitaine shea butter body wash: Another brand I like for body and hair products. I wanted a moisturising body wash and what better than shea butter. It might not be suitable for humid weather, but perfect for Bangalore conditions. The fragrance is nice ...
