New brand entries

Now that I think about it, most brands I bought from my first trip are the ones I already tried before like Chanel, Mac etc., (Though I had to save up for months to get one product📟). There are few brands I wanted to try but never got around which I want to rectify in this trip (it is not quite easy as I keep getting pulled towards tried and tested ones🏃). Listed below are brands I purchased for the first time📝.

1. Soap & Glory: This is the brand I wanted to badly get in my previous trip, but my bulging bags and weakened wallet prevented me from doing so🥴. The very first purchase from Boots in this trip is a traveler kit of S&G along with a Bath cream. Unfortunately, this brand failed to amuse me. Not that I have any complaints on the quality, it is the fragrance that put me off👃. I liked the hand cream the best of all, however I may not prefer to re-purchase it. I like to stock up on Loccitane and Hotel Chocolate ones. Although it is the lip balm I wanted to buy last time. If I don't have my pouches half filled with Clinique lip balms, I may try one of the S&G lip products in next visit.

2. Nip+Fab: Unlike S&G, I found out about this brand after returning from UK i.e., when I used to nostalgically browse through SuperDrug online site😪. What my lazy self found appealing is their exfoliating wipes. Dragon blood variant caught my eye, but I had good enough time to study about the products before my next visit and concluded Glycolic acid variant is what my skin need. I had to buy 2 products due to an offer and I bought a sensitive daily daytime wipes & stronger nighttime wipes which is to be used 2 to 3 times a week. I did buy Dragon blood eye patches too. This brand did not impress me enough to re-purchase even with the ease of use factor🤷.

3. CoCo LoCo: This is a chance encounter as I am looking to try new brands. I initially bought few conditioner sachets and a travel size shampoo bottle which I thought of using during any short term trips. I didn't get to use the shampoo as I got Loccitane travel pack which I used for my trips. I did use conditioners and heat protection sprays for which I have no sense of quality measure. I liked the idea of coconut oil in the heat protection spray - slight compensation for the damage the heat may cause🙇.
4. Bourjois: There is no real excuse for not using this brand so far - it is easily available. Pricing is same, however offers are wide in UK. For 2 eye liners, I got a nice pouch with a lip stick, lip liner and mascara for free. I loved the felt tip eye liner and the brown liquid one is pretty decent too. I didn't get to use other products yet, but I feel they wont disappoint🤞.

5. Lancome: For some reason, whenever I think of Lancome, I think of a subtle rose color lipstick (even though Emma Watson wears a red lip color in the advert😁). There was a recurring offer on Lancome to get a free kit whenever 2 products are bought. It is a decent kit with a 125ml of makeup remover/micellar water, 15ml pots of day and night creams, mini perfume (love those) and 3 other minis. I got 2 of those kits for purchasing a compact & a loose powder, eye shadow stick pen and juicy shaker liquid lip stick💝. I started using compact powder & eye shadow I purchased and mini blush I got in free kit. So far they are good - need to check how their skin care fares.

6. Urban Decay: Though I heard loads of reviews about their eyeshadow palletes, I never really craved for this brand🙊. Then, in one of my strolls in Debenhams, I saw some of the products on good discount. Coincidentally, I was running out of my eyebrow kit and wanted to try one from UD. Super cute kit got everything I need for my brows - even some I don't even need. Petit eyeshadow soon became my favorite - both colors and texture😍.

7. Liz Earle: My friend got me the hot cloths from this brand before, but I never tried any of their products. I bought a summer kit without even trying out - so not like me to do that for skincare🧐. I used up body wash and handwash, but found the face products bit heavier for summer (even thought it is a summer kit🙄). I planned to start with them as winter start when I would need more moisturizing skincare.

8. Moroccan oil: This brand lived up to my expectations in all products I tried - shampoo, conditioner and hair treatment oil. So much so I wanted to order jumbo size packs for my return trip🐈. However, they are easily available in Nykaa and Amazon India sites and the cost savings of buying them in UK didn't seem to justify the hassle of over baggage⚖️.

9. Ordinary: I am yet to try these products. However, I heard amazing reviews and my sister is quite impressed with the formula and texture of Vit C emulsion cream. Cant wait to finish off my other acid included products and start with Retinol treatment⏱️.

10 Jo Malone: Star of the list⭐. Their peony and blush suede perfume is in top of my wish list and later came walnut scrub. However, I bought Pomegranate noir scrub instead due to the fragrance. I enjoyed using their products very much and will be sure to include their products in my trips to UK👍.

11. Pixi: I was neither intrigued nor fascinated by this brand. I just happened to pass through the shelves in Boots with Pixi products long enough to want to give them a try🤪. Since glycolic acid is my new find skin care and Pixi one is always in review lists, I thought of picking this trial pack. Also 24k eye elixir seemed quite interesting. I cant wait to try them out.

I still got few brands in my yet to try list like Charlotte Tilbury, Burberry, Stila,Laura Mercier etc., Apart from beauty & skincare, I bought in few clothing/accessory brands as well - in higher quantities, Micheal Kors and Hobbs, in single pieces, Reiss & Fossil. I am going for higher end brands as a way to limit the quantity.
