December Empties

A modest list compared to previous 2 months, significant, nonetheless.

Lush Love & Light hand cream: This is a light weight hand cream in quite a huge tub - I couldn't finish it within use before date and don't like when it happens with skincare products. Anyway, this hand cream got a light, yet unique aroma (maybe neroli oil) and gets easily absorbed. I keep it near my door and apply just as I step out. I rarely re-apply hand cream and, though they didn't feel super moisturized, they didn't usually feel dry either. I might not re-purchase it though - I could get similar ones for lesser price. Currently using Nuxe rive de miel hand cream.
Neutragena eye make-up remover: since I got lots of Bioderma micellar water, I did not use eye make-up remover daily. However, after getting Mac 9 times burgundy eye palette, I started applying eye shadow almost everyday and therefore, eye makeup remover too. I wonder how people use multiple palettes, even after applying almost daily, it still feels my small box is as much as new. I have a travel size Clinique take the day off remover, which is about to get over. After that I might have to hold off using eye shadows until I get my black Friday haul which got quite a few removers and I don't want to add to them.
Apple cider vinegar: Not something I usually add to the list. I am washing my hair less frequently than I normally do, due to colder climate and ACV rinse is keeping it fresh longer. I only used ACV from this particular brand, only because its easily available and I got another one of it too.
Essence gel nail polish: Its one of the first nail polishes I bought from Essence and reviewed here. I liked the color a lot and its my first gel polish. The timing could have been better though, since I bought LED lamp and there aren't many gel nail polishes in my collection. I am not going to get any new polish soon as I already have so many. I always focus on finishing up my lipsticks before buying new ones, but I buy nail polishes without even realizing I got so many from very long ago.
Few samples:
Clinique moisture surge: even though its a 7ml pot, it lasted a while. I used it with La shield when I re-apply sunscreen (which is usually only once mid-day) and it makes my skin super smooth. I got quite a few moisturizers yet to be used and more to come, but I like to get a full size one.
Shiseido ultimune power infusing concentrate: I got this as a sample in Europe. The consistency is slightly thicker for a serum and way thinner for a lotion. Its hard to see the results with such small sachet, but in 3-4 days use, I didn't notice any changes - not even temporary, short-lived effect. It definitely wouldn't give enough hydration and have to apply moisturizer. For its cost, one might expect more - definitely won't be purchasing this one.
Kiehl's Cranberry and turmeric mask: I once searched for the Kiehls turmeric mask and couldn't find any. Ironically the sample is lying in the mid night recovery kit I got through my friend last Christmas. As much as I liked this mask, I don't think I will be spending so much for a mask. I feel I could get similar, if not better, results with less priced masks.
