October empties

There are quite a few things which got emptied last month. In fact, I finished up more products half way through the month than I normally do in an entire month. On the bright side, my friend asked me to make a list of things I want during Christmas sale and I thought I wont have many things to ask but now I do.

1. The body shop drops of youth eye cream: I bought this one during sale from TBS site - they have offers almost as good as in UK. The eye cream is of very thin consistency in a cylindrical bottle with a steel roll on. The cream comes out, with pushing the button next to the outlet, around the steel ball thingy looking like a smiley.

The feel of steel is quite soothing while applying. It don't absorb into the skin immediately and takes about 2-3 minutes. I got another one of these and a sample of Kiehls eye cream. I could still add eye cream to list of things I could ask my friend to bring from London.

2. Engage pocket spray: I buy these mostly for its compact packaging - I carry it around in my small bag and use it in the middle of workday when the after shower body spray wears off. The scent is quite refreshing, my teammates often inquired about it. I am now carrying Clinique perfume which is not quite compact, but have uplifting fragrance - I like a quick pick me up to continue working for few more hours. I am on lookout for perfumes in compact cases preferably with woody or musky scents.
3. Lush fresh pharmacy soap: My love for Lush face washes and packs is not a secret. While I would prefer their fresh ones like Herbalisim or Angels on bare skin, I had to opt for fresh pharmacy when getting it from overseas due its longer shelf life.Anyway, fresh pharmacy is a nice cleanser and I also bought the tin soap container this time. I have a Caudalie face wash but I would like to use it along with accompanied moisturizer, so I have to wait for my vanishing cream to get completed. Meanwhile, I will be using my sample face wash.
4. Burts and Bees clary sage face wash: it was close to get emptied months before when my skin started breaking out and I switched to fresh pharmacy. I kept it aside thinking there is a good amount of face wash left in the tube which I could use when the weather got colder (I assumed fresh pharmacy will get over by then and it turned out right). However, I could barely use it for two washes - so, technically it got over months before. I wanted this to deal with the dry patches around my nose and mouth, but it's quite expensive in India and my sister got it through her friend from USA. It did help soothing them and, after starting with the meds to heal the breakouts, the dry patches reduced drastically. Hopefully, it stays that way because there is no way I am spending Rs. 2700 (more than thrice the price in USA) for this face wash.
5. Bath and body works body spray in Paris amour: Another product I got from USA and last one to get finished in the trio. I absolutely loved the body lotion in this fragrance, but the spray don't have same intensity. It's not long lasting scent - I could barely smell it by the time I reach office.
6. Bioderma micellar water in sebium: Sensibo from Bioderma is my HG micellar water and I couldn't even remember how many bottles of those I used - I even got a 500 ml jug from my friend. I wanted to try the other variants, Sebium and Hydrabio, and got them in smaller (100 ml) bottles each. Sebium is not so hydrating as Sensibo (as it is designed for oily skin) and I used it during breakout phase. As much as I enjoyed using it, I still prefer Sensibo which I will be switching to when I finish up the Hydrabio bottle.
7. Caudalie beauty elixir: Much hyped product and known to be used by many famous people. I don't remember exactly how much I paid for it - I guess its about 27 Euros for 100 ml bottle. I mostly used it as a setting spray and didn't carry it my bag as I got the bigger bottle. It is a fine mist, but I didn't notice any major difference in my skin while using it. However, my makeup stays as it is for 5-6 hours - should notice if there will be any difference without using this spray. As I am using other products with essential oils like Kiehls midnight recovery oil and other facial sprays, I don't think I will need this anytime soon.
