Empties in October

I seem to go through more products this month and, from feeling glad, I am starting to miss few of them😪.

1. The Body Shop lip & cheek stain: sometimes I feel that a product gets half empty quite faster and then drags on to get completely over - this product was exactly like that 😋. I don’t use blush but I got this as a freebie with one of my purchases in TBS and, since I already had too many lip products, I was using it as cheek stain. I didn’t have any plans to replace it, but halfway through, I realised that I started to like it. I had few more similar products in same category, like primer & mascara, and Benefit came up with these festive packs last Christmas which seemed to be tailor made for me. As I got eager to try the famous cha cha tint, this one seemed to be in no hurry to leave me. It finally got over (mixed reactions 🤓) and I got to open the cha cha tint.
2. Clinique clarifying toner: Clinique products were kind of hit and miss for me and, for that reason, I was not super crazy about their products. Then my friend (and shopping buddy) started using their products and totally fell for them. While I initially stayed unimpacted, I got tempted by the free travel pouch (with 6 travel size products) and had to take 2 products to avail the offer. This one was one of the products which worked for me in the first stint itself and an obvious pick. I wasn't quite sure what to try next and then I bought my envy box, which got elixir toner.
3. Beauty formula tea tree wipes: one of the products from newU I like. Make up wipes are my favourites as they come in handy on lazy days when I don’t want to go through full cleanup process, saving my skin to an extent. Tea tree infusion also sounds good for my acne and blemish prone skin. While my skin is not in flawless state, I am no longer ignoring the skin care (now that I don’t have access to my miracle products ☹️) and I would like to think these wipes played their role in protecting my skin. I got Kara neem & tea tree wipes to replace these.
4. Bath and body works body lotion in Paris amor: my favorite of the trio. This is the second bottle I used in same fragrance. It is the first product I tried from the brand, after reading a lot of good reviews about their body products, and instantly taken to it. It gets absorbed quickly and provides enough hydration to my not too dry skin. I am going to wait till the body spray gets over before opening warm cashmere trio.
5. Biore charcoal nose strips: There will be quite a few factors I take into consideration while trying a new brand (by new, I mean new to me) - not all of them make sense and some are even very silly. Celebrity endorsements, for some reason, never made it to the formula - even if I did come to know about a new brand through that channel, I still would read lots of reviews before considering it. Biore, however, is an exception, I came to know about this brand from Shay Mitchel’s YouTube videos and when I saw their products in Superdrug, immediately picked this one. Though I did not use them very regularly, they did a decent job with blackheads and I wish I got few more packs. I got an interesting nose pack from innisfree to try next (did I just use the word interesting for a nose pack 😶).
6. Bioderma micellar water: few things very subtly make their way into our lives and we don’t even realise how much we like them until they are emptied 😪 ( I probably should have toned it down). Anyway, when I was halfway through this bottle, I knew I will miss it and asked my friend to get bigger bottle when she returns from Europe. When it came closer to the bottom and my friend’s assignment got extended (glad for you Muku, but miss you 😘), I started searching for an alternative. There are few products which caught my attention, but I always knew nothing can take it’s place. Eventually it got emptied and I had no option but order another one of these. Nykaa got a discount going on and with a coupon I got a 250 ml bottle for close to it’s price in Europe (considering no offer is going on there 😈).
7. Zuush facial tissues: these might seem like something that gets finished so quickly, but I don't use tissues a lot (trying to do a bit to environment, every drop counts right 😊). I only use a small section of the tissue to blot extra lipstick or mascara.
