Emptied from Jan to Mar 2017

At the end of last quarter, I thought there won't be many empties for next checkpoint and even used my almost empty lush face pack cautiously to last longer (or I just don't want to end 😊).
However, I was pleasantly surprised to see that I managed to finish so many products - few of them I didn't even expect would make this list. This post is going to be quite long 😌.

Below is the list of products emptied in the first quarter of the year and my thoughts about them:

Lush cup o coffee face mask: starting with the mask from opening line and the last of lush masks from my stock 😭. I like multitasking products (confessions of lazy person 😊) and this one is good combination of mask + scrub. I normally exfoliate when I apply face mask as I use both with same frequency which made this product perfect excuse to skip my scrub for few weeks. The granules are not so soft as other exfoliating products from lush like herbalism and can't be applied harshly or in haste. The smell of coffee as always is quite refreshing.
Lush tea tree toner tabs: bought these instead of my favorite tea tree toner mostly because they occupied less space. They require slight effort to use - steam by adding in hot water and, once cooled, transferred to a spray bottle, store in refrigerator and to be completed in a week or 10 days. Though I would miss it, I got few toners and face mists to make me feel better.
Lush roots hair treatment cream: this is my favorite favorite hair treatment so far. It made my hair grow faster ( though not thicker 😞) and I curse myself for not getting another pack. Couldn't find any replacement hair cream either 😥.
Lush ultra bland face wash: got this as a sample and initially was quite taken back by it but, once I got a hang of how to use, I started liking it. It's perfect for cleaning on chilly evenings as it provides good amount of moisture to the skin. I mostly used to skip moisturizer when I used this face wash and, on rare occasions when my skin still felt slightly dry, followed up with light serum.
Kiehl's mid night recovery oil: got this as a sample when I got their eye cream. I read so many good reviews about this product and I could see why. My friend could accurately notice the difference in my skin when I used it. Would definitely get this once I get through rest of my moisturizers.
Face pack sachets: with last of my lush face pack gone 😢, I was back to my hunt for suitable face packs and tried few sachets. Along with Montagne jeunesse and L'action sachets I bought from London, I got anatomicals and Sephora night pack for trials. Of the lot, liked the L'action masks the most and thankfully they are available in Flipkart for almost same price as in UK. I still got few more sachets to go and also got few origins masks in between, however, once I get through those, if I don't find any old favorites or new interests, I will get few more L'action packs.
La roche posey face mist: my favorite face mist and, since I have good number of back up bottles, there is going to be a fixed entry of this bottle(s) in next few lists.
Nuetrogena sun screen: being a forgetful (& lazy) person, I never used sun screen as it should be used. However, this one is my go to product during high sun exposure outings. As I don't reapply as suggested, it lasted quite long.
Rene furterer shampoo for color treated hair: I picked 2 of these from Paris pharmacy, instead of their volume boost which I liked a lot, as I got my hair colored. I don't think 2 brands are enough for pattern analysis but so far I'm not very impressed with shampoos for colored hair.
Hask argan oil hair serum: I had a phase where I was crazy about argan oil based products and got this one in trial size. It lasted quite long mostly because I didn't use it regularly but also the serum is quite thick and a tiny bit is sufficient to cover the hair. I didn't notice any difference in my hair with it. Not in my 'will be missed' pile.
Benefit fake up concealer: my first ever concealer and first product I bought in London (after noticing my compact+lipstick doesn't give the polished look common to London). Even though I didn't use many concealers, I quite liked this one and got my friend to bring another one of these.
Rimmel exaggerate eye pencil: didn't realize it was going to hit the bottom, but this is the one I go for the most for subtle look. Will definitely get another one of these once done with my current stock.
Maybelline brow duo: despite brow products being quite popular, I didn't get any while in London. I reached home thinking I got enough stuff to last an year, I was prompted by my close friend to try these and immediately realized their effect. Didn't realize it would be exhausted in 4 months but, to my surprise, I used it almost daily.
Zuci hand sanitizer: this isn't hard to be emptied. However, I reduced using sanitizers lately interestingly around the same time they are being promoted as healthy practice 🤔.
Body shop white musk libertine perfume: surprisingly this got over before the travel size pack. It got a unique fragrance, however, I might not be tempted to buy it anytime soon. This too did not make my 'will be missed' pile.
Body shop spa wisdom Shea butter & sesame oil body balm: I liked it better than their regular body butter range as it is quite smooth and blended better. Also the mild fragrance and unique package made it fun to use.
Shea butter body scrub: wanted to buy body scrub ever since I used trail pack of strawberry scrub and got this as free gift during one of the amazing offers from body shop 😍.

Shea butter hand cream: I guess with this product I probably used the whole Shea butter range from body shop🙂. Though it provided very light moisturization, skin around nails got less dry.
