Aug, Sep and Oct Empties

Back to 3 months😓 despite a 10 day long vacation in August, though its more of a diving course than a vacation and I didn’t even use sunscreen most days (coral preservation🌏). Though on next 2 months I used up some skincare products (not much of makeup). This list is highly dominated by Kiehls products and I get to try recycling program. So far I only recycled Lush containers 🙍🏻‍♀️.

1. Kiehls avocado eye cream: eye cream is one product I use regularly. This avocado eye cream is quite thick and I use it before sleep. Despite its thick texture, it gets absorbed very well and, despite my insomnia, I didn’t get any dark circles or wrinkles - I think some (if not all) credit goes to this cream. I bought another from Kiehls, but different variant.

2. Kiehls rare earth toner: this toner leaves quite a residue at the bottom of the bottle and need to shake it well before use. It gives a matte finish without making the skin dry - perfect for humid summers ☀️. Not so great for Bangalore climate, so switching to Clinique (which isn’t well suited either 🤷🏻‍♀️).

3. Kiehls ultra face wash: this is my second pack of this face wash only smaller than before. Cleans quite well without stretching the skin. Other products could have helped, but my skin is at it’s best behaviour these days 😎. I went back to Clinique, but I see myself buying this one again.

4. Ciate nail polish: I mostly stick to Essie (with occasional alternative of OPI) when it comes to nail polish. However, this eggshell white nail polish immediately caught my eye and became my first polish from this brand. Color went quite well with my complexion and it retained its texture well till the end ( unlike other gel polishes which tend to get gooey). Since then many more Ciate nail polishes got added to my stash 😌.

.5. Kiehls musk body wash: I love musk scents but they are not quite popular in feminine products. This is of very mild fragrance. Texture is very thin but doesn’t lather much. It doesn’t make the skin dry but doesn’t moisturise either. I am going back to Loccitaine, mostly due to their refill options 🌏.

6. Pixi 24K eye serum: 2 eye products in one list (even though it’s3 month duration🫣). Unlike the other one, this is a liquid. I like the roll on container - adds to the cooling effect 👁️. I used it once every day in the mornings and it lasted quite long.

7. Kiehls Crème de corps body scrub: after trying the body lotion (already on 2nd bottle of that), I couldn’t help but get the scrub of same variant. The granules are not so subtle and exfoliate well. I don’t always follow up with lotion, then again winter is just starting ☃️.

I am going to try to keep the list 2 months (if not one) and looking forward to add more makeup products 💄.
