Jan & Feb empties
Finally came to 2 months from 3 😁 and few different varieties.
1. Biotique Kelp shampoo: starting with a regular one and an old favourite. Boutique kelp is my go to shampoo when I want one on budget. I read somewhere that we need to change shampoo between washes and I often get this as an alternate one. There was a time, before I got acquainted with other brands, when this is my one and only hair cleanser. I didn’t top up though as I switched to homemade shampoo - soapnut combined with hibiscus leaves 😎. Guess shampoo empties are going to be reduced in future.
2. Hawaiian Tropic BB cream sun lotion: this is one of the few products I bought based on endorsements from YouTube channel I followed and glad I did. Sunscreens often leave white cast and tend to get greasy, but this one have a light tint which probably avoided the whitish layer. I did not use it on face as I use pharmaceutical ones for my face to avoid breakouts. Currently using Bioderma spray I bought in CitiPharma, I would definitely like to repurchase it.
3. Clarins sunscreen: this is part of freebie kit with purchase of 2 items. I initially used it for face, but didn’t use it in a while. As we start getting back to normal, sunscreens and makeup are getting dusted off. I am still using Clinique BB cream and hopefully be cracking open my Clarins and Bioderma BB cream soon.
4. Liz Earle hot cloth cleanser: while I used the hot cloth, meant to be used with it, I bought the cleanser as part of summer kit during my later visit. Even though Liz Earle is widely used in UK, I was hesitant to try their products as they are cream based and I have an oily skin. This face wash didn’t help much with acne, however it didn’t cause any trouble either. Though I switched to Cetaphil face wash when I got acne, I resumed it after finishing up Cetaphil. I got one more face wash from the pack which I am using now, but don’t see myself repurchasing it 🤷🏻♀️.
5. Nuxe rive de miel lip balm: it’s one of the cult favourite French pharmaceutical products. While most preferred the tub to tube version, I liked tube better as it is easier to use and I find it equally moisturising. It’s always good to finish up a lip product even though it’s a lip balm 😅. While I have few unopened lip balms, I also came across few opened ones in the hand bags which I left for use during commutes. I intend to finish them up before opening new ones.
Hopefully I would be able to keep up with the pace and keep the duration to 2 months if not lesser 🤞.
