Nov and Dec Empties
Finally managed to reduce the duration from 3 months to two months to finish up a decent number of products.
1. Jo Malone peony and blush suede body lotion: This is the star of the list and one product I wish is not finished. Peony and blush suede is my favourite fragrance in Jo Malone (probably in general). I bought the lotion and perfume combo from Glasgow airport duty free store and struggled to stuff it in my handbag (pointer - BA have baggage check before boarding too and only 2 bags are allowed in the plane). I planned to use them together as layers make the fragrance linger longer 🥰. However, due to pandemic lockdown, perfume is barely touched ☹️. Lotion is of light consistency and provides moderate hydration. Even sparingly used, I finished it up rather quickly 😅. It’s perfect for a relaxing evening, though unsure if it will be sufficient for harsher winters. Definitely would like to repurchase. Right now back to Bath and Body works 😊.
2. Khadi shampoo and conditioner: for hair care I rely on herbal products and Khadi is one of my favourite brands for hair products. While Amla and Bringaraj is a decent shampoo, Saffron and Thulasi works best for me and I switched back to it. When I know what works best for me, I intend to do no more 🔬 😅. Coming to conditioner, it’s made with goat milk as per the description, but didn’t do much for my frizzy hair. I still am going to stick with herbal conditioners even though they don’t give same results as their chemical counterparts. I bought soya protein version as replacement.
3. Bath and body works body wash Into the night: now that BBW launched their website in India, we no longer have to rely on our friends from States or price reduction on limited available products in Amazon. I am quite used to their shower gels but these shower creams are great for colder weather, not to mention the amazing scents make my shower time aromatic 🚿🧼💆🏻♀️. I went back to the body shop shower gel now, but would definitely return to Bath and Body works-maybe indulge in Loccitane for a while 🤔.
4. Montage Jeunesse 7th heaven charcoal peel off mask: when Lush became unavailable in India, MJ face masks came for my rescue. Soon, they became unavailable and, this time in UK, I bought bigger pack. Would have preferred tea tree variant considering my acne prone skin, but it’s not available and charcoal seemed like next best option. I did not use it often as my acne got worse, but, when I did use it, my mom remarked that my skin got better. Though, the results are quite temporary 😔. Anyway, I bought few more from Amazon and only sachets are available now - hopefully more gets stocked up 🤞.
5. AlphaH liquid gold: I have high expectations on this product with all rave reviews I read and heard, however, I didn’t notice any visible results. To be fair, I am extremely inconsistent with this product, but with my skin, I almost immediately see the response 🤷🏻♀️. I have Ordinary Lactic acid, however I am going to stick with physical exfoliation for now.
I hope I can keep the duration to two months and get more variety of empties in the new year. Happy new year 🥳 🎉!!!
