Aug, Sep and Oct empties

My empties are getting lesser and lesser despite increasing the duration-sometimes I wonder if I am missing any products 🤔. In this list we are back to skin and hair care despite being out of lock down😕. 


1. A Thousand Wishes body scrub: another scrub from Bath and Body works. They usually make products with different fragrance but same ingredients which are mostly Shea butter and vitamin E. However this one sunflower oil. The granules in this scrub are more prominent and gel is thinner. The scent of this scrub is sweet and warm like transitioning from spring to winter. I got Into the Night scrub which got warmer fragrance and cream instead of gel - more suitable for winters ❄️☃️.

2. Cetaphil face wash: my acne is not getting any better and I had to rely on pharmaceutical products. Cetaphil is well known for acne prone skin - fragrance free and quite gentle. Since I don’t have active acne, I am planning to finish up my old face washes and stick to pharmacy brands going forward ☹️.

3. Tribal concepts 90 day miracle hair oil: heard a lot of good reviews about this brand and bought few products. I had to discontinue face products as they are aggravating my acne but managed to finish up hair oil. I couldn’t notice any improvement in my hair though I used the oil twice a week for more than 3 months. Don’t think I will be buying from this brand again 👎🏼. I bought vatika which was my regular oil and a Kerala Ayurveda oil, but I am growing a hibiscus plant 🌺 and planning to make DIY hair oil and shampoo -making hair packs with flower petals and starting to see some results 😄.

4. Bio receipt eye serum: I bought this one from Citi Pharma in Paris. Main reason I added eye cream is because they are usually small and my list was already long enough to fill my suitcase. However, SA insisted on this one. I even removed it during billing as the packaging was quite bulky, but the bill didn’t add up to 175€ required for duty free refund. This could be used as both serum and mask. I used it as mask in evening by increasing the quantity. I have Pixi roll on and planning to buy Kiehl’s avocado mask next.

5. Moroccan Oil moisture repair conditioner: I tried travel size shampoo and conditioner of this variant in UK and liked them very much. But I bought the bigger packs from Nykaa as the price difference is not huge and my baggage was already way beyond the limit. This is one of the few conditioners which didn’t cause hair fall ( during application that is 🤪). I am using Loccitane and Khadi conditioners now.

Another single month list 😊 1. Lacto Calamine cleansing wipes: these cleansing wipes are quite handy on a warm day outing or hectic day quick makeup removal. These wipes are as effective as the expensive brands.  2. L’Oréal lipstick - spring rosette: after lot of search for medium pink colour, I found this shade. February Empties

Most products emptied in this list don't have too many backups - too bad there aren't any makeup products. Nevertheless, I had a good long use of them and enjoyed using them. 1. L'occitane body & strength shampoo: this is like aromatherapy in a bottle making every shower a spa experience. Original price is 19 GBP, but on purchase of 35 GBP, i could buy 3 bottles of shampoo or conditioner from selected rage for 10 GBP each. The same offer was available in Paris too with Euros making it even more economical. The Shampoo is colorless with neither too thick nor too thin consistency. It doesn't lather too much but leaves the scalp clean without making the stresses dry. Still I developed the habit of using conditioner regularly. I bought herbal essence shampoo unwilling to shell out thrice the price to re-purchase this. However, if my luggage permits, I will not hesitate to pick this on my next euro trip. 2. Nov and Dec Empties

This list have a variety of products - skincare, hair care, make up and nails. Almost half are make up products - I always find it difficult to finish up makeup products😅.  1. Bioderma BB cream: I like make up products from skin care brands and French pharma brands. This one is both🥰. They don't have many shades - just 2 or 3. Thankfully I found a match. As bb creams are, this one doesn't provide heavy coverage. Even though I spend most of day in air conditioned space, I also spend good time walking in sun and this one stays well. It is not currently available in India😔, whenever I get access to it, I will definitely re purchase this one. 2. Mac eye pencil: this my second one and I was hoping to utilise it for back to Mac (which is no longer available😟). It is not too creamy not rigid. it doesn't stay long, however, il don't fudge at corners as other kohls I used before. Since these empties are no longer recyclable, I will by other brands now🤑. 3.
