March and April empties
With shifting places, role changes, critical incidents and couldn’t remember what else, I barely had time to sleep 🥱 , let alone self care👩🏻💻. As a result, all I could finish in four months is a body wash.
Not that I am back to normal (couldn’t even remember what that is), but I am squeezing in some time for self and got enough empties for a post 😅.
Khadi shampoo: this is my favourite hair care brand and mainly for its Saffron, tulsi and reetha shampoo. I bought this variant because it got saffron too and Himalayan cedar sounds interesting (though I know nothing about it’s hair care features 🧐 ). While I don’t have anything negative to say about it, I didn’t find it so impressive as tulsi and reetha one. I mean, why settle for less when you get better 🤷🏻♀️? I am back to my favourite variant.
Moroccon oil shampoo: I bought a travel size pack of this in UK and immediately taken. The price difference in India is not much for the bigger pack (definitely not worth the luggage troubles), so bought it after returning home. I had the tendency of getting impressed with travel packs and end up getting disappointed with full size ones but this one didn’t disappoint me. Still I will be sticking to Khadi for a while until I get my expenses under control 🤑.
Clinique lip balm: The happiness in finishing up a lip product 👏🏻. Even though it is travel size, it packed up a lot of product inside and, intent on leaving none behind, I scooped it up to the last bit. Clinique lip balms are becoming my favourite and this particular shade is subtle and lovely. I still have quite lip balms, glosses etc., but if I ever buy a Clinique lip balm, this will be the one I prefer (they mostly come as free samples, never had to buy them 😜)
Origins ginzing eye cream: never one for endorsements, but I bought this one as recommended by YouTubers. I couldn’t really comment on how eye creams work as they are for preventive care. This one have a thick texture but gets absorbed well. I am using pixie eye roll on. I like the feel of roll on eye products.
Bath and body works aromatherapy body cream: I always like the fragrance of Bath and body works products. That’s why, even though rose and vanilla combo sounded too sweet, I didn’t hesitate to give it a try. Composition of the lotions are pretty much the same and quite decent. The only differentiating factor is fragrance.
Estée Lauder lip balm: YES!!! second lip product in the list 👏🏻 . This came as part of night kit, so colourless and odourless, which is good for skin care - especially facial skin. I sometimes used it on daytime before lipstick. The lip balm is very light yet hydrating.
Essie base coat: Essie nail polishes are my favourite. However, I didn’t like this one very much. It’s is opaque with cream tint and became thicker very quickly - maybe I used it for too long 🤔.
Pretty small list for after 6 months, but in lockdown regular regime is going for a toss😔. Hoping things get better soon 🤞
