September and October empties

I finally got some lip products close to finish💃🏻 - however, I started liking those so much and used them sparingly resulting in only one product in the list🤷🏻‍♀️. There are also face products in the list as I was hoping to.

1. Caudalie French Kiss Lip balm: this is bought by my friend more than 2 years ago and I used it for almost an year. I feel like most tinted lip balms in France have similar texture. They are very mildly hydrating and gives slight even tint. As much as I like the packaging and how the balm looks on my lips, I need something more moisturizing. This one is not going to make it to my repurchase list.

2. Herbal Essences Rosemary shampoo: Recently I have been ignoring my hair resulting in increased hairfall and dry texture🙇🏻‍♀️. I read rosemary is great for the hair and thought of including it in my haircare. Cant say this shampoo improved this situation much - going to stick to Khadi for now.

3. John Frieda detox conditioner: I bought this trio of shampoo, conditioner and heat protectant spray from Boots. As usual shampoo got finished long before the conditioner. I don't like using conditioners much as they increase the hair fall, but in past couple of years, I was using conditioners regularly. This one did not cause any hair fall, though I don't think it did anything to my hair. Bought few conditioners from Khadi as well.

4. Bath and body works vanilla sugar scrub: BBW is my favorite brand for body products, though they keep discontinuing my favorite fragrances🙍🏻‍♀️. Good or bad their composition remains consistent among the products, fragrance being only differentiating factor. This scrub is not mild - it provided good exfoliation without drying skin. Vanilla fragrance suits the colder weather. I bought another scrub from BBW in thousand kisses range.

5. Origins ginzeng gel moisturizer: I am not a big fan of Origins, however, this face cream might be the best product I used from the brand. I am having very bad acne and stopped using non-pharmaceutical products except for this one. This gel cream is absorbed quickly into the skin and gave enough hydration to the skin without making it greasy. I am not using any other cream for the time being until my skin gets better🤞.

6. The ordinary retinol solution: I had high expectations for this, being my first ordinary product. Sadly it did not meet my expectations - it did not make my skin any better in anyway. On the bright side, it did not break out my acne-prone skin like it did to my friend. I started using Alpha-H glycolic serum, but halted all skin care at the moment.

7. Emporio Armani perfume Because its you: I bought this for my birthday a year ago mostly because of the travel size free pack which came with it. Its not my type of fragrance, but I did not hate it either. Though some of my teammates complained that the scent is very intense. So this goes to no-buy list too.

This empties list did not have any love lost - most of them neither impress nor disappoint me. I am afraid my next list is going to be shorter - with the busy schedule at home and work, my skin care went for a toss🙎🏻‍♀️. Hopefully another lip product will hit the bin.
