May and June empties
As the lockdown continues, the range of products being used got more limited. Makeup got swept aside ( I might have to do declutter instead of Project Pan after all🤷🏻♀️) and skin care requirements reduced as well. Needless to say in 2 months I used up only bath and hair products.
1. Lush Deep sleep shower jelly: described for pre-bedtime shower, I bought it to relax after stressful day. It doesn't lather much and, towards the end, it got bit difficult to handle. Other than that I don't have much complaints with this shower jelly. It have a light aroma and made me feel fresh and relaxed after the shower. Since its not too expensive, I might re-purchase if my luggage allows it. I don't have any bed time shower replacements, but my shower time switched to evenings as I work from home. I am using the soap I bought from Citi Pharma which is almost over.
2. TBS Satsuma Body scrub: I was skeptical about this scrub as I am not a big fan of citrus scents. However, its not too overpowering and the scrub is neither too intense nor too mild. It got small exfoliating granules in the gel and covered as scrub and shower gel. I use body scrub twice a week when I wash my hair. I replaced it with bath and body works warm vanilla scrub - seems good as the climate is getting colder (though mildly).
3. Skin Chemists Rose peel-off face mask: Got this as a freebie from one of my online purchases in UK, I believe from lookfantastic. I am liking the peel off masks as they are easier than cream masks and less messy than sheet masks. This one is almost transparent rose gel with bits of shimmer. Not sure about the radiance, but it did make the skin fresh and extra clean after use.
4. Origins charcoal mask: This is second tube, but not by choice - got this as part of a kit. Though I don't have any complaints with this mask, it did not make to my favorites list. Its just a normal mask and I notice better results with lesser expensive brands - maybe its the matter of compatibility. I wouldn't mind getting a pack from a kit, but wouldn't purchase it alone.
5. Aveda hair cream: Another travel size pack I got as part of a kit. This brand is new to me, but I liked the hair cream. It don't have much fragrance and have very mild running consistency perfect to spread across the strands. I might not re-purchase this though, as I have my other favorites like Lush Dirty cream and Maroccon oil hair serum.
6. Klorane mango butter conditioner: I bought this from Citi Pharma as it is recommended as one of French pharmacy favorites and I could see why. The consistency is like no other conditioner I used - its not too smooth and provided light hydration. The fragrance is of light mango as the name suggests. By far, its my second favorite conditioner after Moroccan oil along with Lush Retread conditioner. With this my hair wash time is no longer filled with fruity scents, but replaced with warmer notes.
7. Ciate mini nail polish loop the loop: The only non skin/hair care product of the list. Nail polish is the only non-essential product I continue to use as it became more of a habit. Loop the loop is the pastel yellow color, which don't fall into greige spectrum most of my nail colors come under. Unfortunately one of the few which gives a slight deviation from my regular shades. I will most definitely repurchase this color, another brand if not from Ciate.
By the way things are going, my next empties post might contain similar products - hoping to see some facial care products at the least.
