September and October empties
Final move towards the end of September made the empties list so long again I didn’t think I will club with October. However, being back home and no immediate trip planned, I started using my products not so generously🙈 and some of them got transferred to smaller containers went through October. So here I am👻.

1. Clinique lip balm: I always get these lip balms as freebies😜. They are not creamy nor moisturizing, but gives thin layer of hydration and slight tint of color. I used this one up faster than previous tube which I used almost 3 years ago. I got another one of these in brown shade (freebie too). I am not confining to one lip balm though - using Caudalie lip balm in French kiss along with it💄💄.
2. Clinique mascara: By now, I used quite a few mascaras from various brands and I feel Clinique makes the best mascaras👌. I find most mascaras even the high end ones get bit clumpy and stains my under eye skin before they dry out😰, but this one is most forgiving. I am using Mac mascara now which I got in one of the many kits I bought.
3. Clinique eye pencil: I got it as free sample with one of the purchases. Clinique have a recurring offer of 6 free samples and I constantly end up with more free products than actual purchases🛍️. I like this pencil so much that, next time I shopped in this offer, I picked 2 of them, though I left Lord & Berry Kajal at home not even half finished (glad I did, because I couldn't locate the Lord&Berry one🤷). I thought it wouldn't last very long but I used it more than 2 months - in fact I did not even finish this one, I twisted it up to see how much is left and broke it🙍. It is the only one which don't smudge down my eyes. It is not super dark though - but I like them light.
4. Bare minerals concealer+highlighter: I initially found this one to be very lighter, then again it might be intended to be so - being a highlighter too. I mostly used it as highlighter than concealer almost till the end when I desperately wanted to finish it and dispose the container. Still it lasted a while for a travel size pack. I am using Superdrug witch hazel concealer.

5. Miss Dior Absolutely Blooming perfume: I bought this almost 2 years ago and kept it aside to use after finishing my Chanel spray (which lasted so long even when used regularly). I was torn between Estee Lauder modern muse and YSL Mon Paris for months - then in a whim bought this one instead🤹. Top note is nothing like not typical fragrance I like, however, middle and base notes (if they are the right terms) are quite good. I still don't understand why I bought it because I did not wait long enough to sense the middle notes🤷. I am trying to finish off my bath and body works body spray which I left behind so I could open Armani one⏳.
6. Moroccanoil hair serum: This is one of the products I wanted to try for so long and finally bought only in travel size. I thought it is a good size to test how it works🔍. Half way through I started to love it. Its slightly thicker than other serums I tried and it gave nice definition to keep the loose waves intact for few days i.e., until next wash. I resumed using Bumble & Bumble invisible hair dresser oil, but will most definitely get full size one when I get a chance.

7. Clarins body wash: I got this one as free kit along with sunscreen, sun tan lotion and a lovely beach bag🎒. Its a good body wash for summers. It got mild fragrance and washes well - not sure what more can a body wash do🤔.
8. Clarins primer: I got this as gift for recycling cosmetic containers. Primer is another product I never buy and could easily do without. This one is supposed to blur out blemish marks and it might have. Its pink in color and have fluffy texture. It held the makeup well, though I didn't sweat so much 😁.
9. Clarins micellar cleansing milk: This is very small and I could get only 2-3 uses out of it. I used cleansing milk only once before and, for reasons I couldn't remember, never after. I love micellar waters and it is my first micellar cleansing milk. It is not too thick and removed make up well, but I found it difficult to use it with cotton pads - felt like it gets absorbed too much into it😔. I don't think I will buy it.
10. GlamMud face pack: Nice tube to carry for short trips and it gave 2 uses. I don't like sheet masks very much and find cream ones bit of hassle to carry and clean (I always manage to make some mess🤪). Also I think sheet masks leave a sticky feel and pastes dry my skin a bit more than I would like (I leave them longer). Peel off masks soon became my favorite kind and this one have a texture different to other peel off masks I tried. It have a silky feel and look shiny too. I finally managed to open Avene cleanance scrub mask, but bought quite a few peel off masks with me.
11. Klorane dry Shampoo: I find dry shampoos super handy and on busy (lazy😪) days they are quite a relief. And like all good things, they come with a catch and in case of dry shampoos, they are loaded with chemicals. I tried few herbal ones with 0 chemicals and they don't have the same impact🥴. This one is the answer to those whims. I bought few more of them and hope will not use it too often.
12. Simple eye make remover pads: my first product from Simple is face wash which I bough with high expectations and unfortunately it failed to deliver😒. So I was very skeptical to get these eye remover pads. But my friend is super impressed with the makeup remover wipes. There is an offer going on in SuperDrug and I bought them along with micellar wipes. I often use wipes instead of liquids/creams. While they work decently well on my face, they are not equally effective on eyes. After I bought these wipes, I constantly used them remove eye makeup even when using remover liquid on face. I wish I bought back few of them with me but then, I am no where near to finishing Clinique take the day off balm.
13. Estee Lauder night repair eye cream: It came as part of a kit and I specifically bought the kit for this cream. Because I am using much awaited Origins ginseng eye cream which seems to be suitable only for AMs☀️. I like the applicator - a stem with a bulb shape which is to be used to massage the product into the eye area. However, I am not sure how to keep it hygiene though🦠.
14. Loccaitaine cherry blossom hand cream: I used it for very long time, mostly because it is so tiny I keep forgetting it is there in the bag🧐. It got a very slight scent and light in texture too. My hands tend to get super dry in UK especially cuticle area and this one alone is not moisturizing enough. So I used cuticle oil once a day and this one in middle of the day.
15. Lush Brazened honey face mask: I put in so much effort into this mask as I had to stay in the hotel and keep going to reception twice for each use to bring it out and keep it back in refrigerator🏃. Not the perfect pick for the situation, but I am not going to pass up on free mask 🤑 - especially when the next one is going to take a while. Lush fresh masks are my favorite and worth the hassle. This one have very slight granules, not so much to skip exfoliation. It didn't dry out the skin and gave slight moisturizing effect but not enough to skip moisturizer. While I like trying different masks, I am quite sure I will come across this one again.
16. Lush Herbalism face wash: My all time favorite face wash. I usually bring back one with me, but this time I got way too many face washes, so had to be content with using one while in UK. I don't use face scrubs while using this one, but I started using chemical exfoliators and didn't feel too much. However, I skipped them while using Brazened honey face mask.
17. Jo Malone Pomegranate noir body cream: I always thought my first Jo Malone product would be one of their signature Colognes. Then I thought of buying germanium and walnut scrub but liked the Pomegranate noir scent better and, being a fan of layering, I bought the body cream in same fragrance but in smaller size. It gave enough hydration in harsh Scott weather and smelled heavenly. I picked a full size one in peony & blush but I should finish nuxe first ☺️.

18. Kheil's iris extract treatment essence: I used to apply this alone during summers in India and skip moisturizer altogether🥵. However, in Scotland it is nowhere close to required hydration. Instead I used it as toner along with midnight recovery oil.
19. Kheil's midnight recovery oil: I think the sample worked better than full size (way more than better actually), so much so my friend used to identify next morning if I applied it the previous night. For some reason the full size did not give the same impact 🙄. It's too much expensive to retest. I got Estée Lauder night repair serum in travel size - hope it works better 😂🤞.
