July empties
I had to shift to a new place and, just like March, I had to discard as many products as possible - only this time, I just finished them fast rather than throwing them away with some quantity left.

1. La Shied sunscreen: During a bad acne phase, I had to use some intense medicines which made my skin sensitive and sunscreen became mandatory. I was bit skeptical to get this as the expiry date is quite close, but my sister convinced that it should be finished by then. I couldn't finish it up as I suspected and had to threw it away😕. I bought another sunscreen from India and got a Clarins tube as a freebie.
2. Cutex nail polish remover: I spilled most of this product and thus got finished before its time😟. My cuticles got lot dry after coming to UK and I was afraid that nail polish remover dries them further. Liked the idea of coconut in remover as it is known for hydration. Having said that, I still used hand and nail creams and cuticle oil to keep them conditioned. I got another bottle of this in stronger variant, but I like the idea of gentle removers🙂. I am planning to get a bigger bottle, but may stick to superdrug one🤔.
3. L'oreal Elvive shampoo&conditioner: There is always one purchase I regret, not because the product is bad but because I buy in big size and it wont give me a chance to try others🙄. This time I planned to buy everything in travel sizes (as the stay is short) and purchase bigger ones before I leave🛍️. However, these 2 I couldn't resist as it seemed ideal for my long and dry hair. They are not bad but not super impressed either. I bought much longed for Moroccan oil shampoo and conditioner (in travel sizes of course).
4. Simple micellar wipes: make-up remover wipes are brilliant for lazy people like me and I find the idea of micellar wipes quite appealing💁. Though I wanted to get Bioderma wipes, they are more expensive in UK💸. So I bought Simple ones instead. They did a good job removing face makeup and I used eye makeup remover wipes along with them. I am being thorough with my cleansing process and not using wipes, but I will get bioderma ones and a pack of neutragena soon - it’s better to be prepared for when I go back to my lazy self (I know it is going to happen🤷)
5. Caudalie Vinosource moisturizing sorbet: This one along with SoS serum I got in kit by my friend from Brussels. I liked the combo so much I bought another kit during Black Friday sale. It is slightly heavy for warmer days and I am using Origins Ginzing gel moisturizer, but I will get another kit of this from Paris✍️.
6. Nip+Fab Dragon fix eye patches: Not a big fan of eye patches - they never fit to they under eye part and mostly goes to cheeks🤦. These eye patches are no exception either - I prefer eye cream or any flexible masks if such exists. I tried Estee Lauder patches I got in night kit and, by far, they are the best eye patches I tried so far👍.
7. Wilko cotton pads: These are my favorite cotton pads - they are vast and I love the shape (though I don't use the complete pad but cut them into 2-4 parts🤑). They don't come off with fluids poured it or while swiping across the face. Couple of these in my going away shopping list📋.
8. Soap&Glory bath float: Though S&G products did not impress me much, this I find to be best of the bunch I bought. It gives enough foam without overpowering fragrance. I Still prefer Lush over this and bought some epsom salt bath salt which claim to reduce body pains🤞.
9. Caudalie SoS serum: I got a sample size pack in the previous kit and liked it so much, I picked a kit with full size serum in Black Friday sale. Though I expected it to last longer than 2 months - maybe I used it more due to the colder winter in UK🥶.
10. Lush Aqua Marina face wash: This is one of my top 3 favorite Lush face washes - the other 2 being Herbalism and Angels on Bare skin🥰. Also the only one without exfoliation, but it makes up with calamine content which soothes my skin. I had to go back to Herbalism due to recent breakouts😥.
11. Chanel Mademoiselle body spray: This is my favorite perfume so far 💓 - I read Chanel changed the mademoiselle scent and I am hoping to find another bottle of this in the same place I bought before - Ferry ride in English Channel. I am using Dior Absolute Blooming which I bought from duty-free almost 2 years ago. I am also planning to get Jo Malone Peony blush perfume.
12. Tressemme heat protection hair spray: I know it is not good to use too much heat for the hair, due to sinuses I had no option to avoid hair dryer💆. Heat protection sprays are my only console. Since there is no measure of quality for these sprays, I only go with ingredients - pretty sure this one is loaded with chemicals, so bought CoCo heat protection spray with coconut oil and John Frieda one with argon oil.
13. Lush Catastrophe cosmetic face mask: I wanted to get my trusted cosmetic warrior to deal with the breakouts. However, I saw this with similar claims and couldn't resist to pick this one instead. I find it little powdery and dry to apply and did not do much for my breakouts - though it claims to prevent breakouts, so it could have stopped from getting worse. I would go back to my cosmetic warrior, but now I will be trying out few 7th heaven ones to decide which ones to stock up on - Charcoal and tea tree already made to the list, dead sea salt and Manuka honey in trail👩💻.
14. Lush bubblegum lip scrub: I bought this one after a long wait and initially I felt it to be quite brittle and drying😟. However, dry bits on the lips are totally gone with daily use👏I. am using Lo'ccitaine lip scrub, which after Lush scrub, feels bit mild. Hope the condition stays same.
15. Clinique Aromatics body spray: My friend gave it to me to cheer me up when I am going through stressful phase at work (she is sweet like that😍). We do have similar taste in fragrance and this is the musky fragrance which is not too masculine - just the way I like it. I mostly used it towards end of the day as pick me up🧚.
16. Estee Lauder Beautiful Belle perfume: I got this in travel pack in constellation box. The packaging is amazing - I like perfumes in fancy mini bottles which I don't find often 🎁(Most of the sample packs comes in lousy sprays). The scent is floral and nice, however not my kind of fragrance.
17. Kiehls Rosa Arctica light weight face cream: I got this as one of the samples with the mid night recovery oil kit my friend bought from Brussels. I did not use it regularly but carried with me for when my skin felt drier towards the end of work day - which do not happen quite often. Even though it is light weight, it gave enough hydration during colder days. I may not get the full size though unless there is an impressive offer or as part of kit😉. I got quite a few sample size creams which will take it's place in my beauty pouch but none currently - its became quite warm these days and Evian face spray is enough to refresh and hydrate💦.
18. Bare Minerals primer: This is part of the starter kit and, though I did not use it regularly, it lasted quite long. Like mascaras, I rarely buy primers - they mostly come as freebies or part of kits😁.I don't use much of face makeup like foundations, bronzers, contours etc., I would mostly get one for my eyes though👁️, as I increased used eye shadows recently.
That's a delightfully long list and I am relieved that I did not have to add them to my already over limit luggage. Hopefully August list will be equally big.
