March Empties

Few of the empties are not completely finished this month. However, I had to travel and they were almost done, so had to tick them off☺️.

1. Rene Furterer Volumea shampoo: I liked this a lot when I bought the sample, but the full size one didn't give the same results😪. Maybe its because of the climate or this is one of those products where only samples work for me. It does clean well, however, I would like more results for the price and effort. I am not planning on re-purchasing at least not anytime soon. Now that I am back in UK, I would like to try some Brit brands.
2. Hawaiian Tropic sunscreen: I got it towards the end of my previous stay in London - with great difficulty, as it was close to winter then. It is one of the rare times I bought a product based on celebrity endorsement. The product is quite decent and gave hydration along with sun protection. I am using pharmaceutical sun screen suggested by sister and not so regularly either😶. I might try something from Lush next 🤔.
3. Bottega di Lungavita Bagno Docia: one of my teammates recommended to get this brand while visiting Italy, however, couldn't find it there. When they are launched in Nykaa, I ordered an apple fragrance body wash and got vanilla instead. I am glad though as I liked the fragrance a lot and it suited for the winter (better than apple one would have😌). I may not get another one soon though, mainly because it may not be available in UK and also I wanted to try Soap and Glory bath products.
4. The beauty co coffee scrub Chocolate: This scrub have very unique texture - There is no gel or lotion base, but its not dry either. It's like actually using coffee granules. In times of dryer weather, I used to mix it with Bottega body wash and it gave enough hydration along with exfoliation. Again this currently may not be available to me and I want to try Soap and Glory scrub (I didn't get a chance to try this brand before and I want to close that gap😊).
5. Kheil's day reviving oil: I like the midnight serum sample very much and wanted to get it in the full size. My friend got it for me from Brussels as it was coming in a kit for the same price as the bottle🥰. Day serum is one of the samples I got along with the kit. I delayed using it as I got bad acne and was skeptical about using the oil despite multiple reviews stating otherwise. It was indeed light and absorbs quickly giving light hydration. It is nice to use during summers, however during winters my skin needs extra moisture. Not sure I will be buying the full size product though - I am quite happy with Caudalie vinosource serum which is less expensive🤑.
6. Galenic tint Lumiere: I got this as sample in Paris and never even heard of this brand. It got very thin consistency - almost like water. The shade is bit darker for me but blended well and didn't look bad. I don't think its a foundation, so coverage is not high - I wouldn't use high coverage creams anyway. I may not buy this one - nothing against the product, but I got other favorites. I am currently using Mac BB cream and going to get Olay one I was longing for. If I want to buy something expensive, I would like to go for Clarins detox BB cream.
7. Origins drink up intensive night mask: I initially used it as mask on top of the night cream, but in warmer weather just as a night cream. Either way I used it 2-3 times a week and not daily. It took me a very long time to finish the 30 ml pack. Of the 5 origins packs I bought (others are charcoal, 10 min repair, rose mud and GinZing refreshing face mask), I like this most.
8. Eucerin lip repair: My friend and I are doing video call shopping in a pharmacy store in Brussels. While searching for the products I want, she came across this lip balm. It wasn't in my list but my lips always need extra care, so I asked her to add this😌. It did not disappoint me. It is transparent cream with gel like consistency. It is not long lasting though - I mostly used it at night, but during day time, I had to keep replying every 2-3 hours. I sometimes used to mix it with Sephora lipstick which I find too dry (powdery actually).
9. Benefit Brow gel: this might have got over long time ago, but I like using the spooly to brush my brows💁. Mostly I follow up with some brow powder, but during busy days, I just use it alone. I like this one - it got light tint and good hold. I may not buy this anytime soon, as I am considering TBS brow sculpt.
10. Benefit they are real mascara: this is very hyped product and I was excited to use it. However, I am not very impressed🙍. It doesn't apply evenly and I have to dab it after applying to make sure it don't stick to the skin. When I wash my face in between, it comes down below the eyes and it very difficult to remove from there. Maybe because I did not open the pack for very long, but I prefer Clinique mascara. Hopefully the Mac ones don't disappoint🤞.
11. Benefit tinted primer: it is interesting product, but I don't like adding too many things to my already elaborate kit😅. Most times I used it alone - it doesn't highlight the lashes as a mascara does, but it is not completely vague.
12. Maybelline master curly eyeliner: I am quite clumsy with eyeliners and prefer eye pencils. When I saw this product, I wanted to try it even though the reviews are mixed. Maybelline is my favorite drugstore makeup brand and there was a time, I only used products from this brand. I mostly used it along with eye pencil - I liked that way better than using it alone. I am thinking whether to get the same thing or go for Mac🤔.
