Black Friday shopping
Biggest sale of the year + awesome friend located abroad = drastic reduction in savings. Considering the byproduct is heaps of skincare that lasts at least an year, I have absolutely no complaints😉.
I was going to wait until I receive the items, but couldn't resist. My friend had to shuffle the products to accommodate the space and she is kind enough to take some pictures in original packaging to be added in this post😍.
Constellation box: Back in September I order a beauty box from Mac which was lost in the post ( that seems to happen often😏). It's even more annoying because my online banking got locked out and I couldn't check if the refund went through😣. So when this constellation box was released with almost similar products, my lovely friend ordered it for me😍. We forgot to take the picture of the contents - I might write another post once I received them. The price of this box is £39.
Mac Shiny pretty things: We got more than a little stuck on Mac this time and there are quite a few things already on my list from limited edition and long awaiting classics. It got real overwhelming and I held back editing and reanalyzing my wish-list😎, which turned out to be a good thing as there was an additional discount of 20% on the Black Friday weekend along with a free Mascara. I ordered the red goody bag in red ( I wanted to buy the RubyWoo, but I guess it got to wait😥) along with studio finish concealer to meet the £45 mark to qualify for the discount 🤑. The lip kit costed £23.2 and the concealer, £13.2. Basic bitch pallete is for my sister - I must say, it's a smart buy👍🏼 and the price reduced to £25.6🤑. I was quite nervous until the order was received considering the previous experience.
Estee Lauder The Bedside table kit: There was an Estee Lauder kit I considered for a brief time (huge one with 3 pallets, 3 lipsticks), but I considering the quantity and price I backed out - even when it was on sale. Moreover, having that many eye shadows and lipsticks means I have to push back the wish-list products even further🤷🏻♀️. However, another kit caught my eye - night time skin care products in an elegant packaging😳. It got advanced repair serum, body cream, lip conditioner and a pair of eye mask patches. And I got it on discount in Lookfantastic site for a reduced price of £25.6 from £35.
Caudalie kits: I opened my Caudalie kit, I bought in Christmas sale last year, few days before the sales started (talk about timing 😃) and am super impressed with the products. I found similar kit - Vinosource Natural Hydration Heroes. My current kit have full size moisturizing sorbet and mini sos serum and this kit have full size serum and mini moisturizer. Its perfect except the foaming face wash is replaced with grape water mist. The kit costed me £22.04 and the original price is £29. Not able to give up on the face wash and the discount, I ordered another Caudalie kit - the Beauty secrets. It got the foaming face wash(50ml), Beauty Elixir (100ml) and detox mask(15ml). I wanted a kit with bigger face wash instead of the elixir, but this will do. Price of this kit reduced from £32 to £24.64.
Origins Most loved Black Friday Beauty Gift set: This is introduced to me by my friend. Neither of us were impressed with the masks we tried from this brand, but she liked the moisturizer and I wanted to try the eye cream. The kit also got a frothy face wash, charcoal face mask, 2 in 1 night cream & skin peel, soothing treatment lotion. It is priced at £55 and I paid £42.35.
Clinique Moisture surge kit: Can't believe I placed 2 orders before without creating an account😟. I ordered this kit for my sister but I am going to keep most of the samples😈. The kit we ordered before got lost - that was almost the next order I placed after the kit from Mac got lost and I was quite disappointed. Anyway this one got a 50 ml 72 hour Auto-replenishing hydrator, 30ml thirst relief face spray, 30 ml overnight mask and a mini lip colour balm. Also, we got Take the day off cleansing balm with 6 samples.

Though I thought of sticking to drugstore products this year, the sale was way too tempting to resist. Wish I could travel to UK to relieve my friend the burden of carrying them across continents, but I don't know when those plans would materialize🙎🏻♀️.
