Shopping at The body shop online store
As I mentioned in my earlier post, here is the lists of products I got from The Body Shop online site.
1. Strawberry body polish: I used a smaller size one in London and liked it a lot. It got the nice strawberry scent - normally I am not a big fan of fruity fragrances, but this got such a soft smell, not only it did not bother me, I kind of liked it too. After going through my latest scrub from Dirty Works, I did not get another one for quite a while, even thinking of going for a DIY. Then I came across this site and it was in 50% discount ie., 312.5 INR (Additional discount reduced the price further to 265) - the best offer I got so far on this scrub is not less than 500 INR. Then again the shipping price is 200 INR unless the total price is 2500 INR. No love lost there as I was already prepared for no body scrub, but I started browsing the site and that's just the beginning.
2. Peppermint foot scrub: Between hair and face, rest of the body kind of takes back seat and, when it comes to feet, it only gets worse. Apart from the moisturizer (and I often forget that too) and on rare occasion a feet mask, they barely get any attention. So when I came across this peppermint range of foot care, I felt like I should get one of those. Foot spray and cream are in the range, but I did not want too many products - simpler the process is, more is the chance I will be regular with it. So I just added the scrub and, with 50% off, it came for 347.5 INR (295 with further discount).
3. Almond nail and cuticle oil: I always thought of getting a cuticle oil, but I got good enough number of hand creams and they help in keeping my nails in condition too. However, I recently started getting couple of rough cuticles and getting it for half price (372.5 INR reduced further to 316) made it less resistible.
4. Drops of youth eye concentrate: when I came across this, the list I got is of the products which priced 300 something. I was skeptical about adding this one as, in addition to the those I am already using, my friend sent a sample which would last a while. Also, since I saved quite an amount in the discount, I thought of paying the shipping and not spend 4 times the amount (897.5 INR) on product just for the sake of free shipping. As I proceeded with the tea tree products, the total came up to 2500 anyway. Then I came back to this product and, in addition to 50%, I got a further 25% off and that reduced the price further to 761. Now, how could I not add it?
Except for tea tree products, I got everything else for 50% discount and an additional 25% for purchasing 3 or more products. The 3 product discount applied at the checkout i.e., shipping charges did not apply even if final price went below 2500. I was bit skeptical if the delivery takes long or if I get products close to expiry but I got the parcel within 5 days after placing the order and all products have ample 'best before' time.

5. Tea tree wipes: This is not in discount category but, by then I noticed there is an additional discount getting applied to the final price and they came to 377 INR. I wanted micellar facial wipes and my friend is not able to find them. Moreover I heard great reviews about TBS tea tree range, so I added them.
6. Tea tree oil: This isn't in discount either, but my friend is planning on getting this and, after a quick comparison, we found it was cheaper in the site - with discount 547 INR. So I added two of these - one for my friend and one for me.Except for tea tree products, I got everything else for 50% discount and an additional 25% for purchasing 3 or more products.
