2017 favorites - skincare products
Saving the best to last, here is the list of skincare products used in the year and my favorites among them:
Face wash/face scrubs:
I used Lush Fresh Pharmacy, La Roche Posey duo effaclar and Burt's Bees clary sage face washes and Clinique 7 day scrub and Lacto calamine oil balance face scrub. My favorites are Lush & Burts Bees cleansers and Clinique scrub. I would like to re-purchase all 3, however, Lush is not available and other 2 are quite expensive😔.
Face masks:
Masks used are Lush Cup O' Coffee, Origins charcoal and Out of trouble masks, Montagne Jeunesse, anatomicals and L'Action sachets, Biore charcoal nose strips and currently using L'oreal clay mask. Additionally I tried lots of sheet masks too. I liked MJ, Origins and L'Action masks. MJ masks are no longer available in India and I saw L'action masks in Amazon few months ago, but they are not there now 😒. I still got one more Origins Mask and will be getting a Lush mask (thanks to my lovely friend/shopping buddy).
Face mists and toners:
I used a lot of La Roche Posey face mists with couple of Avene mists, Clinique clarifying, Lush tea tree and currently using Kama Ayurveda rose water and Elixir. Favorite is evidently La Roche posey face mist, I will be getting serozinc next.
Moisturizers and serums:
I, surprisingly, used a ton of moisturizers/serums this year - TBS drops of light, La Roche Posey duo effaclar serum, Olay day creams, Clinique custom-repair serum, Clinique dramatically different moisturizer and few samples from Lush and Lancome. I liked almost all of them, but I wont re-purchasing any as I am getting few French pharmacy products which will be listed in another post👼.
Night creams and eye creams:
I got to use some interesting collection - Kiehls midnight recovery oil, Clinique turn around cream, Sephora pearl and Origins overnight masks, Clinique pep-start and Kiehls midnight recovery eye creams. My favorite of the lot is Kiehls midnight recovery oil and already re-purchased the full bottle for next year. I am hoping to get either Lush or Origins eye cream next.
Shower gel/scrub and body lotions:
one of my favorite collections - Lush 95,000 miles, Bath and body works Paris Amor & warm cashmere shower gel and L'Occitane Bonne Marre soap, TBS shea butter and Dirty works coconut body scrub, TBS spa wisdom, Bath and body works Paris Amor & warm cashmere and Lush dream cream body lotion. I liked most of the products in this category, but my absolute favorite is the bath and body works warm cashmere shower gel.
Sunscreen, handcream and lipbalms/scrub:
I used Face guard, Neutragena and Hawaiian Tropic sunscreens, Lush love and light, TBS argon oil and hotel chocolate hand cream (hotel chocolate is actually body butter, but I use it as hand cream😌), Burts Bees, Monoprix and Sephora lipbalms, Clinique lip pot and Forrest Essentials cane sugar lip scrub. My favorites in each category are Hawaiian tropic sunscreen, Monoprix lip balm, Clinique lip pot and hotel Chocolate body butter. Unfortunately, none of these are available to me and will be getting new products or turn to old favorites.
