Online shopping

Pros of on-line shopping: no long commutes (saves time and environment ๐Ÿ˜Ž), no standing in the long queues (saves time), lots of offers and coupon codes (saves money ๐Ÿ’ฐ).
Cons: not being able to try directly and lets just leave it at that ๐Ÿค“.

I always prefer online shopping, however in last year, I reduced shopping online drastically mostly because I bought loads of things during my trips. In last few weeks, I restarted shopping online mostly because my shopping partners left town.

1. Beauty formulas products from newU:
When I searched for  Montagne Jeunesse products, I found beauty formulas instead. In addition to face and hair products, there are hand, foot, eye and finger masks too๐Ÿ˜ƒ. I have been wanting to place online order from newU, but never got around it. When I ran out of my St. Ives facial wipes, I had to find an alternative. That's when I remembered these tea tree ones I thought of trying out. Along got added few more masks which were in my to try list for a while.

Except for the hand mask, I opened everything and, while I am not super impressed with them, they are quite alright.

2. Cotton pads and OPI nail polish from Amazon:
One con I face with online shopping, after placing the order I will remember that one important thing I forgot and sometimes it gets quite frustrating.
As soon as I placed the order in newU, I realized I ran out of my cotton pads. I somehow feel the price of these are bit high. After some comparison, I choose these Bella ones from Amazon. Also they are infused with aloe vera ๐Ÿ˜€.
Also, I have been wanting to get an OPI nail polish for a while now. When I saw this one for 400, I had to get it. Other ones in the collection are twice the price except for hard kourt fashionista. Plus I don't have any brown polishes.

I already opened and liking both of them ๐Ÿ˜ƒ.

3. Sheet masks from Nykaa:
The only sheet mask I tried before is the Sephora Pearl one and got another one from Sephora which is still unopened. Not sure why, but I felt like they aren't for me, despite the ease of use which ideally would have got me. Probably because I love my regular masks too much.
However, when I came to know about the offer in Nykaa (buy 5 get 5 free), I couldn't resist. First I thought it is easy to pick up 10 - I saw only 10 variants in this price range. But then I saw few more and the struggle began. I don't want to buy 20 and already added 18 in the basket. Which was when I noticed, the price still went down 50%. I reduced to 12 after a lot of back and forth.

I tried a couple of those and they seemed pretty decent.

4. Few others from Nykaa:
So another thing about online shopping, just after placing the order, I will notice one or two more could be added. After placing the order for sheet masks, I noticed that my nail polish remover wipes got over and these Kara ones are on 50% off๐Ÿ˜‘.  I added couple of those and the dirty works scrub, but did not order right away. I felt like I am just driven to shop and probably don't need these products so badly as I think I do. Next day, I got a message saying I didn't go through with the order and offering a discount code should I wish to proceed. I logged into the site and tried applying the code, but it will apply only if the cost crosses Rs. 1000 ๐Ÿ™. Anyway, I was too motivated to back off and started asking my friends and sisters if they want anything worth at least 250. My sister asked for the Vaseline spray but, by the time she did, I found these gel nail polishes from essence. I had only one gel nail polish I got in London which is also from essence and these are priced almost the same. Also, I am eyeing this gel nail polish curing thingy and well, I need few gel nail polishes to be able to use that. Finally I placed the order, which originally started with nail polish remover wipes๐Ÿ˜ฏ.

I tried the nail polishes, scrub and rose nail polish wipes. Scrub and wipes are doing their job well. I did not yet decide on buying the curing machine and the gel nail polishes are bit hard to work with especially the light pink one.

5. Carlton London shoes from Jabong:
It's been a while since I shopped from Jabong and developed resistance to their promotions. However, when they included my favorite Espirit brand to their collection, I picked up a tee and have relapsed. I wanted to get a pair of Vans shoes but I couldn't find the pattern I have in mind - I came across these while loafers with grey stripes in London I liked so much, but I didn't get as I already got like 10 pairs of shoes in my baggage. While browsing, I came across these shoes which are close and I already tried and loved Carlton's boots and shoes.
They initially seemed bit big for my feet, but they are super comfortable and a nice addition to my casual wear.
